Do you have a chronograph? I picked up a chrony from Amazon for about $80, and it is a major benefit.
In my experience, using Sierra 168s versus Hornady 168s (both HPBT), I found the Sierras to shoot better than the Hornady's.
At this point, I think you will be doing a lot of load development. Make certain you completely document your recipes and results.
