I bought my girlfriend a Stoeger 20gauge and she loves it. We haven't had any problems out of it. They aren't the prettiest, but they get the job done.
I shoot skeet with a slightly modified 870 and have no trouble shooting doubles. I like taking my pump and outshooting the guys with $3000 Berettas.
