Ugh! I have two friends who own the Henry survival gun. I agree that it's watertight. But what a POS! Sorry if my language offends, or my opinion is contrary to those who own this gun and think it's worth the $260 price tag. It's ONLY merit, is that it seals up in it's own self. Flimsy, inaccurate and uncomfortable.
That little badger piece could be sealed up in a watertight bag just as easy. And is smaller for packing away or slipping into a backpack. +1 for the Badger!
