car gun in the winter

It's starting to get colder in Indiana. I work as a locomotive engineer and leave my car at the yard for a day or a day and a half at a time.

My question is this, is their anything that I should be doing with my car gun for the winter? Lube? clean more often? rotate ammo more often?

I have a Para LDA officers size and a Taurus model 85 that I rotate, any difference for the revolver than the pistol?

I also have a Crimson Trace grip on the Taurus, any problems with it in the cold?
