My guess is that even though the new $25 gun tax does not go into effect immediately, it will have the impact of driving gun sales out of Crook County right away. And for whatever it is worth, two local gun shops here in northern IL have told me that gun and ammo sales have jumped dramatically since the re-election last week of Obama.
