FWIW, my friend picked up a P22 a few years ago. It ran well through a brick, but he managed to drop it in some dirt on one of ourange outings. The front plastic sight came off, and the flimsy takedown slider on the left snapped. I wasn't impressed with the materials used.
Fun though.
