Honestly, I don't think it was the
intent, but it's certainly an unintended consequence.
This is what happens when people pass legislation in the heat of the moment because they feel compelled to "do something." When people pull the
guilt & shame card on us for defeating the post-Sandy Hook federal proposals, this situation is a good example to give them.
