#7 works for me...

#7 is a good choice in .357 Mag. It performs best in all calibers I've tried (9mm, .357 mag, .44 Mag & .45 Auto) with higher pressure loads, as in don't use it as a "light target" powder. There are many other powders better suited for that. I've experienced the best results loading at "near max" charges as published by Accurate Arms in 9mm & .357Mag. .44 Mag and .45 Auto are OK but not as good performance wise I've discovered. #7 in .45 Super on the other hand is an excellent choice. It's a great metering powder to boot. Hope this helps.
