I know this doesn't have anything directly to do with guns... Or training or tactics. Hopefully it won't be locked right away.
I was just reading a post from Nov. 1st, 1998... Up close and personal. They're talking about carrying knives on planes as long as they're legal sized. (I'm guessing the 3.5 inch blades) Now you can't even carry a bottle of water on a plane.
just blows my mind. You can always explain away and justify little things as they happen. Gas is $4.oo a gallon because of hurrican Katrina (why is it still so expensive even though oil prices were at their lowest etc.) Oh now we can't do this because of that. But when you look back 5 or 10 years at things that were so common and now its like the ultimate sin/idiotic thing to do to try to carry a pair of toe nail clippers on a plane.
