Out of all of the appliances and machines made today - dishwasher, microwave oven, mechanical watches, automobile, boat, plane, etc. are there any, besides guns, that are made to be used over multiple lifetimes?
So, for $500 - $1,000, you really get a heck of a lot of value for your money. You can buy one gun, say a Browning Hi-Power, CZ75, good 1911, or just about any other gun in that price range and be assured that it will outlast you, your children and grandchildren, with just a minimal amount of care.
What is my $25,000 Jeep going to look and work like in 100 years, or even 20 years, with a minimal amount of care?
