Buy a jug of Alliant Promo and you'll be shooting for a *long* time for less than $100. Works great for target loads in everything, or full-power .38 Specials w/ light bullets or .45 Colt. I've shot lots of it in 9mm before I switched to BE. I'd go back to it (still got about 5 or 6 pound) if I couldn't find BE.

Green Dot is a pretty good pistol powder that nobody thinks of, so you might can still find it for sale.
