Does anyone know ... or have experience with Uncle George's holsters and retention problems?

I want to buy just one holster for all situations (if I can get away with it). Before I commit to an Uncle Geroge's, I am concerned about the low clearance on the holsters (the holster only comes up to about the ejection port?). I want something I can throw in a back pack and put in my cargo pants/shorts. I prefer baggy cargo shorts, so I am wondering if my LCP would slide out of the holster as I walk around/go hiking / etc
