Not up to the gold standard? This is hilarious. I am no Glock-aid drinker but I advise you to google the issues that others are having with M & P's or the problems some departments had with PX 4's or the issues some agencies had with Sig's.
Yes Glock has had issues. Yes they make you pay freight. Send a Gen 2 in for work and tell me what will happen. I will tell you what happen, they will repair the pistol and then rebuild it with a new frame at no extra charge.
