Four Sevens

There's a big range of illumination with their products. A good combination of light, bright and cheap is: http://www.foursevens.com/products/QT2L-X-AF

It's 760 lumens at peak, but is only $75. I carry one in my pocket (old model with 320 peak). Weaver wise, it's a bit small, but I think that's what you are looking for. You'd need some spacers to put it in a 1" weaver ring. But it is a wide throw, not a long range light. You can see pretty damn far with it anyway, since it's so bright.

A more Weaver appropriate light a better fit for 1" rings (it's what I use as a weapon light, but mine is only 300 lumens at peak--older model again) is http://www.foursevens.com/products/MM-X-AF That one is 900 lumens peak, and 480 at longer burn times at peak. My old light at 300 lumens is a focused throw that easily gets me out to 100 yards of illumination. I'm sure the 900 to 480 lumens of the newer model is far superior to my light.

I own 3 Foursevens lights and I'd never pony up for surefires or the like, and I'll never go a cheaper brand. I've used maglights, cheapo Fleet Farm L.E.D.-bank lights, and even a cheesy Smith and Wesson "tactical" light. Broke 'em all. My four sevens may look beat up (they go shooting, backpacking, EDC, and hunting), but they have all run at 100%. Fenix lights are pretty good, too. Only knock against my last one was that I lost it.
