The answer is to wait six months for the bubble to burst before buying the "replacement". Of course, some of this doesn't apply to collector pieces but off the shelf Glocks are not collector pieces.

I know it's hard not to buy lots of guns; to paraphrase the great Dr. King, indulgence delayed is indulgence denied.
