I just recently learned that gunslick foaming bore cleaner is water based and safe for BP. I've been shooting quite a bit lately and have been using it with ballistol and it sure works good! It's nice because it standardizes my cleaning regime. Now I can clean all my guns the same way.

Just a friendly FYI -- it's made things easier for me.
