Hard to tell condition from the pic but $300 to $400.

As above, serial numbers ran from C1 in 1948 to C223998 in 1951. Yours is likely 1948/49. And it is a M&P which became the Model 10 when S&W began model numbers in 1957.
The Chiefs Special is 1952.
