IIRC, the Tasco World Class product had the studs built into the bottom of the rings, with corresponding recepticles/holes in the bases.

The Bushnell system was different, as with the OP's mount, with the mount studs screwed directly into the receiver, and corresponding recepticles/holes in the bottom of the rings.

IMO, the Tasco was a workaround the Bushnell patent(s).
