Well, I am 61 and the fibre optic front sight is the greatest innovation in action pistol shooting like IDPA that I have seen in recent times.

I have not worked with a gold bead pistol sight, but the ones I have seen have the bead on the back of a vertical post where it does not catch the light for a glint on target the way you would think it should.
