I had a stripped lower lying around and run across an actual in stock 300 AAC complete upper. The one thing I'm unsure about with this build is the spring/buffer combination. I don't see a specific 300 AAC set offered, so am I fine with a regular 223 spring (I have a Wolf Xtra strong spring that I was thinking of using, plus a heavier buffer)?

As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying.
