I have an Aimpoint Comp M2 that is missing some parts and am having a heck of a time finding them.

1) Set screw for the brightness adjuster knob - I finally found a new adjuster knob, but it did not come with the set screws to secure it to the adjuster shaft. A 4-40 would not fit, nor would a m3, so what is the thread? (BTW - aimpoint, why would you sell this without the set screws?).

2) Battery cap - I found some used ones that do not have the fibrous washer to push the battery against the contact. Can I use something else of similar size or is this part available?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
