I don't even clean my guns after I have had a few beers, much less carry. Alcohol and guns just don't mix, in my book.
I like to have a beer or five on occasion, but I know how my judgement gets after drinking. Just not the state of mind to be in when in control (or not) of something that can easily take a life. Sort of like not getting behind the wheel after drinking.
Just go to the party, play beer pong and try to stay as aware of your surroundings as possible. If the atmosphere doesn't feel right and you get a bad vibe, just bug out.
