Yeah. I was hoping that the Browning would perform some kind of magic and transform the WSM in a shorter barrel, but it is not to be. I have a Tikka 7mm Rem Mag that I'm sure will perform well enough for me for longer ranges. It has a 24 3/8" barrel, and I'm thinking I might lose 50-70fps compared to a 26" barrel, but it is still enough to perform well out to 400+ yds, which is farther than I'll probably ever shoot at a game animal anyway.

While I was researching the BLR, I came across reviews for this rifle chambered in 358Win.(I already have one in 7mm-08), and based on what has been said about this combination, I simply must have one.
