I just got my 1908 Remington model 10 12 gauge back from Rob at Northern VA Gun Works a few days ago. He broke it down, rebuilt a broken part, clean it up, and threw it all back together. I was very impressed as this was the first time I used him for anything. His shop is in Springfield, VA; not too far from you. Give him a call and ask him if he can help you out.
