The 7MM WSM should be fine for black bear and moose with a strong bullet - Siwft A Frame, Barnes X, Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, something of that nature in 180 or 200 grain. I would opt for a bigger gun if you go after frizzly or brown bear.
I use a .30-06 with 180 grain Barnes X for moose, caribou, and black bear, but am looking to get a .338 or something similar to take on a future grizzly hunt.
