Is it the original barrel,sounds like your head space is to much. After firing the round the case will expand to the shape of your chamber and the space from the back of the fired case to the face of your bolt,thats were I think your problem is. In most cases fired formed cases in the same bolt gun is the way to go if you reload for accuracy, but thats for another post. Easy fix by a good gunsmith. Have one check it out,your rifle seems like it's a keeper if it shoots like you say it does. Hope I helped Chris
