The G22 is known for reliabilty and durabilty, not accuracy.
The G35 is allows you to shoot much better and has the reliability that makes glocks so popular.
I don't think the G35 is really any tighter or 'better made' than the 22, it just makes it easier to shoot better.
That's just my opinion. The gun mags all rave about the G35 for it's accuracy and ease of use in competition. I have a G34 that is very good but not great.
If you're looking to carry a .40 S&W, go for the G27 or 23. If you want to compete, get the 35. But don't expect any one gun to be really great for most missions. Yes, there are 'all around' guns that will be useful, but you are asking 'best', and no one single gun is going to be best at everything. It's all a trade off and you have to decide what is most important at any one time.
