Not quite, but I did pull off an "almost unloaded" carry once. I popped in a magazine, worked the slide to chamber a round, and then dropped the magazine to top off. Because I needed two hands to top off the magazine, I put my gun in the holster, and topped off the magazine. At that point, I suffered a minor bout of
cranial rectitis, put the magazine in my mag pouch, and off I went. I only later realized that I had 1 round in the chamber, but no magazine in my pistol. I was effectively CCing a single-shot. . . .
