I shoot 36 Navies for CAS and I just bought a loader. My question is do you gents think disassembling the pistols every time to reload would put more wear on them than just using a loading stand that you don't disasemble the the pistols. Just a thought is all. Gus

This is a very good question Gus, As my whole reason for buy a cylinder loader is for the open top Colts. I was thinking not using the rammer on the pistol would be less wear on them. But as you point out disassembling them every time you load a cylinder might be another ball of wax. I too will await the open top experts opinion on this.
