I recently acquired an older Taurus 66 in .357 with 4" barrel. What loads will be safe and not drastically shorten the life of this gun. Can I use heavy cast bullets for deer? Most of the time I will shoot light loads I don't get a kick out of heavy recoil.
Yes this gun is legal for deer in Indiana and I have the discipline to limit myself to shots I KNOW I can make.
