In the US it is kind of like trying to buy gun in Europe. You have to present a passport photo and fingerprints with paperwork signed off on by the actual County Sheriff, pay an extra $200, wait 4-10 months and then hope they don't lose it or it comes back with an error. Also suppressors are often REALLY expensive out here for what they are.

I blame TVs and movies for misinforming people into this state.
