I use match bullets for groundhog and coyote hunting.

They designed just like a varmint bullet. Very thin jackets and soft cores for rapid fragmentation.

A ricochet at a match with a bunch of people around is a very bad thing and the match bullets are designed with this in mind.

For deer, elk, and the like, a match bullet would be my very last choice.
