No offense if youre one of the minority here, but its been my experience that most local township/boro cops really are not up on a lot of things, and dont have all the answers, as much as they like to think they do. The badge doesnt magically give them to them either.

One thing I have noticed since moving away from the SE PA insanity is, the State Troopers seem more up on things, are much more reasonable to deal with, and dont seem to be on the power trips many of the township cops are. They also dont seem to be in the CS revenue racket the township cops are. Its a lot cheaper (and more fun) to drive where radar rules the roads.
