The + factors of a Nano Glock 36 Kahr P290RS etc include faster reloading, thin profile, compatible with primary sidearm ammunition(9mm .45acp .40 etc) if used as a back up or 2nd gun.
DA or DAO snub revolvers are good; they work well under rough conditions, feed or cycle nearly any ammunition type, are lightweight.
In 2013 both sub compact pistols & snub wheel guns have merit.
It's a tough call.
