I am repairing a Win Mod 70 and ran into a problem. When the safety is in the middle position and some pressure is put on teh trigger and then released, the striker will fall when safety is moved to "fire". I took the action out of the stock and found a Timney trigger. I tried adjusting it like a Remington (Overtravel first, then engagement and then trigger weight)but no luck. does anyone know how to adjust these? Does the bolt stop screw position the rear of the trigger housing? Is the the trigger housing supposed to parallel with the bottom of the action? Any help would be appreciated!
