I'm sure this has been asked before. Due to shortages of std pistol primers I have to ask.

What are the consequences of using Magnum small pistol primers in place of std small pistol primers?

Particularly for
9mm 115 gr powerbond over 5.0 grs universial.
.38 spl 158 gr SWC over 3.0 grs clays.

I'm more concerned about an over pressure situation with fast burning powder like clays. Getting impatient waiting for a better choice of primers.
