Update..... after exhaustive testing at my own personal expense... (using two cylinders ).... fouling is not any more noticeable than without crayon. In fact, the limiting factor requiring the cessation of testing, is the fouling of the flash holes in the nipples, as usual. . . . which is independent of any type lube at all. Cylinders did not bind, nor did arbor holes get excessively gummed up.
