Stoegers was selling Belgian muzzleloaders with that type of stock carving as late as 1939. Prices ran from $25-$100 depending on the amount of carving and engraving. I can't imagine paying that for a novelty item considering that a Lefever Nitro Special was $30 and a Winchester Model 21 was $72.45 at the time.
