Take a look at http://www.bayoubullets.net/45_200_SWC.html.html. I like the low cost of lead, but hate the
smoke and potential leading. I just bought some of these recently to
try, and really like them. They are coated with some type of hard green
something. No lube at all. I swear, I shot about 200 of these and ran a dry
bore snake through the barrel. Barrel looked like it hadn't been shot. And
no smoke. They are a little more expensive than regular hard cast, but
to me they are worth it. Plus the green swc's look "cool".......
These were fired in my RIA 1911.
