Not every time but there will be times when you will have to. ....
It all depends on what propellant you use and your cleaning method. As you get to know, your rifle, it will indicate to you what you need to do. What can happen is that the trigger will locked up by residue and not release your striker. I don't clean with water and I'd say I pull my trigger group about every sixth time I take it out. Once started out the hunting season by going to the range and sure enough, my trigger was locked up. Still, there is not problem cleaning and freeing it. ...
