One shot placed where the clavicles meet at the top of the sternum - base of throat, put a hole in the trachea and esophagus. In this case, caliber doesn't matter, any of the light weight "pocket" .32s or .380s would work - just pull and jamb it in place before pulling the trigger. - knife there works also.
