Im a Remington 700 guy usually but I agree on the Savage Hog hunter ... its a very nice feeling gun. I like the stock on it better than the Axis I have. Even though the Axis shoots very accurate If I get the chance to sell my Axis and buy a hog hunter im all over it.

Also if you have a Academy sports near you they have the Remington 700 in 308 for $379 ...... its on their website.
