For the past four years I've been using
230gr. fmj reloads for all of my IDPA,
recreational, and handgun class shooting.
Now I'm down to my last thousand bullets
and am trying to decide whether to stay with
the above weight/style bullet or go with
a 200 gr. lead semi wadcutter.

The price difference is significant:

230 gr. fmj- $95.00 thousand

200 gr. semi- $37.00 thousand

My carry load is manufactured with a 230
grain bullet, thus my reasoning behind my
recreational/competition load.

If I drop down in weight to the semi wad-
cutter, will the point of impact be
different enough that I'll have to keep
adjusting my sights for the difference?
It's something I'd rather avoid.

Thanks.
