One of my nephews is a Captain in a large metropolitan department. One of his life-long friends was a public defender and later became a prosecutor. Both have dedicated their lives to law enforcement and have made many enemies among the criminals they have put away. LEOSA deems one of them worthy of special privileges to protect themselves.
