If you want to stick with a 180 grain load the Winchester 180 grain Ranger T is probably your best bet. The Speer 180 grain Gold Dot is another fine choice.
If you are looking for other peoples ideas I personally like the Remington 165 grain Golden Saber and the Speer 155 grain Gold Dot, but I like bullets in the light-weight to middle-weight range. These loads have very good street results and perform well in gelatin and barrier testing. The 180 grain Winchester load is very similar to most middle-weight .40 loads in regards to penetration and temporary cavity.
If you like heavier bullets then go with the 180 grain Winchesters, they are a very good load.
