As long as you're happier with a pair of Vaqueros than you were with one Five-Seven, then you made a good trade. While it they may be bringing big bucks for the moment, when the panic eventually subsides a Five-Seven will be a $900 gun again so, considering its true value, you came out fine monetarily (and you don't have to deal with the moral dilemma of selling the gun at a scalper's price). Of course, my opinion might be somewhat biased since the Five-Seven never really lit my fire to begin with.
