the original Steven Favorite is one of the best little .22 rifles ever made for a "kids rifle", i have one that my Great Aunt gave me when i was 11 y.o., i cut a small notch in the hard rubber butt plate for every rattlesnake, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, fox, possum or pheasant and a few cats
i shot with it.
i still love shooting it, pretty accurate out to 75 yds.
