I'm a big fan of the look of naked slides.
Has anyone ever filled-in the lettering on a carbon steel slide?
It's a Kimber so the lettering isn't extensive. I could Tig weld
it with steel or bronze but I'm scared of warping or weakening
the metal. Would epoxy or some other filler stay put without
shrinking? I'm going to have it refinnished/coated. This is my
primary CCW so i don't want to reduce the reliably in any way.
I shoot this gun aprox 20 rounds a week.
