I would strongly suggest NOT experimenting with it in a gun that is not suitable for .44 magnum pressures.

I load several thousand rounds of 44 special each year and have for the past 30 years. My list of powders in order for the special is.
1.Herco
2.Win 231
3.Unique
For bullets try the following 240 GR SWCBB
