Been raining lately , so had some time for a little project.
Wanted wooden grips for my Beretta 87 ,as I don't like plastic.
Had been pondering the subject.
Was not as hard as I thought. The problem is stopping.After almost every
shooting session I tend to shave of a little more here and there. Fits like a glove now.
Think I'm almost done now and can polish up and apply last finish.
Wood is local (Portugal) walnut .from a dead tree I cut down some 25 years ago and had sawn into 50 mm planks.
Finish at this moment is just some hardwood oil.So no dirt gets in on the range
After polishing will finish with wax.
